Dr. Dan Harmer
Dr. Harmer joined our team in May 2017.
Dr. Harmer grew up as an “Army brat” and moved all over the world during his youth. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in health education. After teaching junior high school in Lehi and West Haven, Utah for 4 years, he went back to school to become a veterinarian.
Dan and his wife, Emily, met at BYU. They have been married for over eleven years and have three children: Autumn (10), Elias (5), and Summer (3). Emily is a full-time mother with a bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development. She is from Rockville, UT. The Harmers are thrilled to be moving back home to Utah, and look forward to becoming a part of the Price community.
Dr. Harmer is a graduate of the Utah State University and Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He particularly enjoys small animal dentistry, “backyard” farm animal work, and working with young people and their animals.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys painting, carpentry, gardening, and raising animals. He is an avid ice fisherman who occasionally catches fish, but always has a good time.
